Lash Lift and Lamination at Home – Which Kit to Choose?

Beautifully curled and thick lashes can significantly enhance your appearance, adding definition to your gaze. However, we don’t always have the time or opportunity to visit a beauty salon. That’s why more and more people are opting to perform lash lamination and lifting in the comfort of their own homes. I have prepared a comparison of the best products for DIY lash lifting and lamination just for you. Enjoy the reading!

Lamination involves applying a special formula to the lashes that nourishes and thickens them, and adds shine. Lash lift lifts and curls the lashes at the roots, making them appear longer and more defined. Both treatments can be performed at home, saving time and money. To help you choose the right kit, I have prepared a comparison of five popular products available on the market.

Ranking of Lash Lift and Lamination Kits for Home Use

1. Nanolash lash lift and lamination kit

lash lift kit nanolash

In the first place is the kit from Nanolash, which won my heart with its quality and effectiveness.

The Nanolash kit is based on natural ingredients like keratin and botanical oils. It not only curls the lashes but also nourishes and strengthens them. The formula is free from harmful chemicals, minimizing the risk of irritation and making it suitable even for sensitive eyes.

The  Nanolash Lash Lift Kit contains:

  • Laminating formulas: Lift – Step 1, Fix – Step 2, and Keratin Booster – Step 3;
  • 3 pairs of silicone rods in 3 different sizes;
  • Lash Lift Glue, 5 ml;
  • Other accessories for the lamination.

The cost of the kit is reasonable – neither the most expensive nor the cheapest. The kit lasts for up to 10 applications, making it cost-effective in the long run.

The Nanolash kit has a very gentle, almost undetectable scent, which is a big plus for people who can’t tolerate strong aromas during at-home treatments.

The effect of curled and nourished lashes lasts for up to 8 weeks, which is one of the longest-lasting results among kits available on the market. I was thrilled!

The Nanolash Lash Lift Kit is the ideal choice for those who value natural ingredients and long-lasting effects. The ease of use and safety make it an investment worth considering.

2. RefectoCil Eyelash Lift

Another kit worth noting is the RefectoCil Eyelash Lift, often used in professional beauty salons.

The product contains traditional ingredients used in the lash lift, including ammonium thioglycolate. Although effective, it may be less gentle for those with sensitive eyes.

The kit contains:

  • Eye patches,
  • Lashperm tubes,
  • Neutralizer tubes,
  • Glue,
  • Pick,
  • Bowls,
  • Brushes,
  • Makeup bag.

This kit is slightly more expensive than the previous one. It lasts for several applications, making it cost-effective if you plan to do lash lamination regularly at home.

Unfortunately, it has a noticeable chemical scent, which may bother some during the application. However, the entire process can be completed in just 13 minutes, so it’s bearable!

The effect of curled and thicker lashes lasts for about 6 weeks, which is a good result. If you want a professional effect and don’t have very sensitive eyes, RefectoCil might be the right choice for you.

3. MIYA LASH Keratin Lash Lift Kit

The MIYA kit contains keratin and vitamins that regenerate and strengthen the lashes. The formula is gentle and eye-friendly, minimizing the risk of irritation. The kit includes all the necessary products for at-home lash lift and lamination, such as:

  • Glue,
  • Activator,
  • Neutralizer,
  • Nourishing serum,
  • Cleaner,
  • Brushes,
  • Applicators,
  • Eye patches,
  • Brushes.

The MIYA kit is priced quite high. It’s more expensive than Nanolash but cheaper than RefectoCil. Additionally, it’s easy to find in most online and regular beauty stores. It provides a more budget-friendly result than a professional one. The effect of curled lashes lasts up to 5 weeks.

A plus for its subtle and pleasant scent, which doesn’t interfere with the lift and lamination process.

MIYA LASH is a good option for those who want to condition their lashes while lifting them at home. While it may not be a spectacular kit, I think it’s worth trying.

4. Thuya Lash Lift Kit

The Thuya kit is another option that has earned the approval of many users. Thuya is a well-known beauty brand from Spain.

The Thuya kit is based on classic lifting ingredients and also contains botanical extracts that support lash care. The kit includes products such as:

  • Glue,
  • Gel,
  • Neutralizer,
  • Rods.

The Thuya kit is well-suited for those trying lash lift and lamination at home for the first time. It lacks a lash conditioner, as the kit itself may dry out the lashes. To avoid this, be sure to purchase one separately!

The effect lasts around 5 weeks. The lashes are slightly curled and look thicker after the application.

The kit has a moderate scent with a slight chemical note, but it’s not intense enough to be disturbing during the application. It’s a good choice for those who appreciate reliable solutions. Though it doesn’t stand out much from the competition, it delivers satisfactory results.

5. Fleeky Lashlift Kit

If you’re looking for a budget option, consider the Fleeky Lashlift Kit, as it’s the cheapest set I could find.

It contains the basic ingredients needed for the lash lift but lacks additional nourishing ingredients. Most notably, it doesn’t include a conditioner or nourishing serum, so the lashes are not properly strengthened.

The kit includes products such as:

  • Lash Lift sachets,
  • Glue,
  • Silicone rods,
  • Brushes,
  • Y-tool,
  • Picks,
  • Combs.

Unfortunately, Fleeky’s products have a distinct chemical scent, which can be somewhat bothersome during application and may irritate the eyes. If you have sensitive or allergy-prone eyes, this kit might not be suitable for you.

The curled lash effect lasts for 4 weeks, which is the shortest among the kits discussed. However, let’s not forget that its price is exceptionally low, so don’t expect professional results.

The Fleeky Lashlift Kit is a good option for beginners or those wanting to try the lash lift without significant financial investment. Despite some compromises, such as a shorter-lasting effect and strong scent, it can meet basic expectations.

Lash Lift and Lamination at Home – Summary

Choosing a lash lamination and lifting kit for home use depends on your individual needs and expectations. If you value natural ingredients, long-lasting effects, and gentle on the eyes formulas, the Nanolash kit will be the best choice. It provides the highest quality, ensuring your lashes look stunning for a long time. On the other hand, the Fleeky kit allows you to try the lash lift without a large financial outlay.

I hope this comparison helps you make a decision and enjoy beautiful and curled lashes without leaving home. Good luck!
