If you want to have something nice – slim body, clear skin or cute nails – you need to earn it. The same applies to long and full-looking hair. If you want to help your hair look gorgeous, you need to take up an action that will bring you closer to achieving this beauty goal. How? Simply by using the right hair care and choosing suitable cosmetics. One of the crucial substances that promotes healthy-looking strands is keratin. Our hair is made of it so once you deliver this protein to make up for the shortages in keratin in the hair, you will see the immediate improvement. Hair will look gorgeous and become strong. This is why a keratin hair mask is literally the key element of conscious hair regimen. Today I’ll present to you the best keratin hair products I’ve used.
Benefits of keratin for hair
Before getting down to the reviews, I need to explain briefly what makes keratin so important in hair’s “diet”. Without getting much into details, try to imagine keratin as a kind of putty or filler that repairs the gaps, breaks and cracks in your hair. Keratin rebuilds and repairs damaged hair structure which considerably boosts resistance to the external aggressors. It must be remembered that keratin makes up the structure of the hair: both it’s inside and outside. So, if you want to keep your hair healthy and strong, you must supply it with keratin on a regular basis.
Best keratin hair mask that I recommend
KERATIN MASK NO 1: Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask
By far, this is the most amazing keratin hair mask I’ve had the chance to use. It’s the best – at least for my hair. The concentration of keratin is impressively high, which repairs hair in almost no time. Besides, it also makes hair better-looking and shiny thanks to panthenol. Every time I apply Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask, it makes my hair smooth and soft. And the best thing is that it’s available at an attractive price. Another reason why I recommend it to everyone is because it’s literally suitable for all hair types! No matter if your strands are dry, damaged, normal, color-treated or oily, this keratin mask won’t deprive your hairdo of volume. 300 millilitres, beautiful fragrance and amazing effects made Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask my favorite hair care product.

KERATIN MASK NO 2: Global Keratin Lock Me
Here is another brilliant hair mask which – I think – is designed for those who don’t mind spending more on beauty products. I know some girls who say that they will never buy Global Keratin Lock Me because of its exorbitant price. Well, I bought it once and I have to tell you that it gave me the results I had hoped to achieve. This mask brims with keratin which is teamed with a couple of naturally-derived plant extracts and a unique JUVEXIN complex (a blend of vitamins and peptides). To me, Global keratin hair mask works perfectly for damaged and over-processed strands. I can also tell you that it moisturizes hair, regenerates it, smooths out and leaves it better-looking. Of course, you can get all of these for quite an amount.
KERATIN MASK NO 3: Rene Furterer Absolute Keratine
If you’re a fan of PEH hair treatment, you might be interested in this product because it’s an emollient mask. So apart from plant-derived keratin, Rene Furterer Absolute Keratine is also formulated with linseed oil. It helps you replenish hair with moisture. In general, this mask delivers nutrients and reverses damage in hair, especially the damage caused by chemical treatments such as dyeing and bleaching. My friend and I consider this mask as a support for hair that is prone to damage, that is dull, dry and brittle. It even works for fine hair. I give it a big plus for having no sulfates, no parabens and no silicones. Unfortunately, this is another costly product.
KERATIN MASK NO 4: Wella Professionals Sp Luxe Oil
Is there anyone here who doesn’t know the Wella Professionals hair series? I’m sure that everyone has used one of Wella Professionals products at least once. I personally love the Wella SP Luxe Oil keratin hair mask. In this product keratin is teamed with a few really hair-friendly substances like argan oil, jojoba oil and almond oil. And that’s why it has no problems with improving dry, damaged and weak hair. Other hair types, especially fine and volume-deprived strands may get limp because of the oils – so, please keep this in mind. When used on a regular basis, Sp Luxe Oil prevents the strands from damage and losing water. To be totally honest with you, I use it only in the winter, but perhaps it would work for you also during the warmer seasons – you just have to check it yourself. The size is okay, the price is not too bad, so overall I think Wella Professionals Sp Luxe Oil is worth reaching for.
These are four keratin hair masks that worked on my hair, which I’m pretty sure will work on yours too. Have you ever used one of the above-mentioned products? Would you add any keratin mask to my list? Tell me in the comments section below. Thanks!
